About the Course

Interviewing children and adolescents who are victims or witnesses of violence requires technical preparation, sensitivity and command of the legislation. When conducted inadequately, it can lead to revictimization, weaken the victim's protection and compromise the validity of the evidence.

This course trains professionals of the Rights Guarantee System to work with greater confidence in specialized interviewing, special testimony and the referral flows of the protection network.

You will study:

Specialized interviewing and special testimony
Law no. 13.431/17 and Decree no. 9.603/18
Law no. 14.344/22 — Henry Borel Law
Child and adolescent mental development
Interview and assessment techniques
Flows and referrals in the protection network
Case studies and interview practice

A program for those who need to act with technique, responsibility and full protection in situations of violence against children and adolescents.

Certification

Upon completing the course, participants will receive a professional development certificate issued by FMP, with a total course load of 30 hours and MEC-recognized certification. The certificate attests to training in specialized interviewing of children and adolescents who are victims or witnesses of violence, addressing current legislation, interview protocols, networked action and full protection within the Rights Guarantee System.
