About the program

FMP's Specialization in Administrative Law and Public Management provides an in-depth study of the legal foundations that structure Brazilian Public Administration and the transformations shaping the role of the contemporary State. The program examines the main institutions of Administrative Law in light of current challenges in public governance, administrative efficiency, institutional control, and public policy design. The training combines analysis of legislation, case law, and administrative practices with an understanding of changes in the State's role and the demands for transparency, accountability, and quality in public management. Throughout the program, students develop a technical and strategic outlook to understand and act within Public Administration's decision-making processes and in the relationships between the State, society, and oversight institutions.
