On the day August 24, at 7:00 p.m., the FMP conducts the Lecture Series: "The Digital World and the Protection of Children and Adolescents".
In an increasingly connected world, protecting children and adolescents requires new perspectives. Social media, artificial intelligence, data sharing, digital exposure, and new forms of violence are transforming relationships and posing legal, psychological, and social challenges that must be understood and addressed.
Aula Magna will host a live discussion on these issues, bringing together different perspectives to reflect on the impact of technology on the lives of children and adolescents and ways to strengthen their protection.
The event will feature the participation of Denise Casanova Villela, Ana Paula Lourenço and Cintia Burille, which will address the main contemporary challenges related to children’s and youth rights, families, education, health, and the justice system.
The event is open to professionals and students interested in this topic, especially those who work or intend to work in the field of children’s and adolescents’ rights and in the child protection system.

Dra. Ana Paula Lourenço
Psychologist at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rio Grande do Sul. Psychotherapist for adolescents and adults. Specialist in Clinical Psychology and Psychoanalysis from UFRGS and in Forensic Psychology from CRP. Instructor for the Continuing Education and Specialization Courses at FMP.
Cintia Burille
Attorney and Professor in the FMP Specialization Program. Director of the National Commission on Family and Technology at IBDFAM and author of the book *Digital Legacy*.
