The FMP promotes a robust program of ongoing academic events focused on research initiation, knowledge production, and the exchange of ideas. These events serve as a benchmark for the critical education of students, researchers, and faculty in the field of law.
LIC – Scientific Research Initiation Laboratory
The LIC is a welcoming space for students who wish to begin their academic careers. Under the guidance of faculty researchers, participants develop projects grounded in theory and methodological rigor, linking current and relevant topics to the field of law.

To enroll in the LIC, students must fill out the form below and submit it through the Student Portal (Menu > Applications > LIC Registration - Scientific Initiation Laboratory).
SIC – Scientific Initiation Fair
SIC brings together the work produced by students affiliated with LIC and other FMP research initiatives. The event highlights academic authorship and strengthens the culture of scientific research in the law program.

International Seminar – Legal Remedies for the Enforcement of Inalienable Rights
Organized by the FMP’s Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Law, the 11th International Seminar brings together Brazilian and international researchers to present, discuss, and publish studies focused on the enforcement of inalienable rights. The event will be held online on October 20 and 21, 2026.
